Apollo Camp : FinetuneDesktop
Update : FinetuneDesktop is now available to download
As you can see, we’ve got a whole new blog. My old Blogger blog is going to slowly fade away for 2 reasons:
1/ It’s always better to be on brand.
2/ Blogger is forcing me to change my account to a Google account, an error occured and as a result I cannot post to it.
So, we attended ApolloCamp this weekend to do a little presentation on an Apollo app that we have built. Gabor Vida (Teknision president, and the other poster on this blog), Mykel Ruvola (Finetune Product lead), and myself (Tony MacDonell) showed off the FinetuneDesktop. We are going to make a preview of the application available when the public Apollo preview release takes place. If you want a little teaser, take a look at this:

Works on Mac and PC. That’s what Apollo is all about. In the future it will be on Linux as well.

Is there a way I can show the tracks playing in FineTune (online or Desktop) on my blog?
Probably a Flash widget on my blog, connected (polls data or data pushed to it) and updates tracks I am playing. FineTune Desktop updates the status, if I am signed-in user.
Flash Widget can let user play it or buy the track from amazon or other sites (referral) and if it’s through my blog, I get some share
Just one of the revenue models around it.
