Upcoming Teknision Speaking Engagements
It is going to be a very busy fall for us in regards to speaking engagements. I am presenting at the two big events: FlashForward 2007, and Adobe MAX 2007. This fall is going to be very exciting indeed, with the pending release of Flex 3 and Adobe AIR, there is going to be more than enough to talk about.
Here is a little overview of the two presentations (both focused primarily on Adobe AIR), which is something we have been very deeply involved in since the beginning, with projects like the Finetune Desktop.
FlashForward 2007
Thursday, September 20, 2007 1:30 PM-2:45 PM
AIR, Finetune Desktop, and the Circle of Engagement
The Finetune Service has quickly become one of the premier ways people brighten their day with music. People build playlists, share them with others, listen on the web, listen on their Wii or PS3, and now listen on any desktop using AIR. Finetune’s ability to allow you to take your entire musical life almost anywhere is something that is compelling to just about anyone.
Tony is going to demonstrate the many players/experiences that encompass the Finetune Service, with a specific focus on the Finetune Desktop that runs on top of the Adobe Integrated Runtime. This presentation will not be heavily focused on the “How To” of developing AIR apps, but more a discussion of the “Why To” develop AIR apps.
Adobe Max 2007
Monday, October 1 – Wednesday, October 3 (exact presentation time not yet known)
